Police Officer
Mark Haeuser was born and raised in the beautiful
farm country near Fountain City, Wisconsin. The
oldest son of two loving parents, he spent most of his
youth roaming the hills and valleys of the Mississippis
driftless area.

Mark began writing in 1997 after a trip to a local
bookstore. After spending hours searching, he
realized no one wrote the kind of stories he wanted to
read. He loved adventure stories and craved the kind
of realistic action he had lived as a police officer. He
decided to try his hand at writing his own books.

Drawing on his years of martial arts training, SWAT
team training, and SWAT sniper training, he began
writing the Battleground USA Series, an
action/adventure series in which he has plans for a
total of fifteen books. Battleground USA - The
Beginning is the first book in this series with
Battleground USA2 - Las Vegas being the second.
Both are published with iUniverse.com. Mark has
completed Battleground USA3 and plans to release it
with iUniverse later this year.

Mark also writes in both the fantasy and the western
genres. Marks fantasy novel, The Protectors, is the
first in The Second Coming Trilogy and is published
with iUniverse. His novel, Hunters of the Shadows, has
been released with Crystal Dreams Publishing. His
novels, The Fourth Horseman and Western Justice
are published with Xlibris.

Mark is currently working on completing the
Battleground USA Series and The Second Coming
Trilogy.

He has also co-authored 'No Lady and Her Tramp'
with romance author Kristie Leigh Maguire. 'No Lady
and Her Tramp has been released with
VirtualBookworm.com .
Memoirs of a Rogue

@Mark Haeuser 2003

rogue-n cheat, knave, scamp, wrong doer, sinner,
scoundrel, paragon, hero, demigod, benefactor.

My name is Brae. They call me Brae the Mercenary. I
am a hired sword by trade;I am a rogue by choice. I
am all of those things one associates with the word
and I am none of them. My world is governed by
survival. I choose to live my way, free, unhindered, a
warrior, above those who hide under society's safety
blankets.

Morals? I have them but they are easily adjusted to fit
my needs. I live to possess gold, whiskey, and
beautiful women.

Combat is my life and religion. I value those I fight with
above all others despite their questionable
reputations and deeds. In short, I decide where I ride,
who I associate with, and how I live my life.

If this makes me a rogue, so be it. I bow to no man.

My memoirs are filled with my adventures as I cross
the known world selling my sword to the highest
bidder. I pursue gold, I thirst for whiskey, I love women.

My name is Brae; I am a rogue.
No Lady and Her Tramp is reminiscent of the
TV show Married with Children minus the children and
in a different setting.

No Lady and Her Tramp will have you rolling in the
aisles as you follow the exploits of the residents of
President Park.

Beth Ann Dixon gets herself a computer and decides
to write a steamy erotic novel. Her husband, Billy Ray,
can't do much of anything right, not even shoot a gun.
And Troy is the guy we all love to hate.

Everybody gets into the act and there are showdowns
all over Grapevine -- Grapevine, Kentucky that is.

The local gossip columnist, Shirley Snodgrass,
records it all in her column, I Heard it Through the
Grapevine.

You'll laugh, you'll cheer, and you may even shed a
tear
